Lopi® gas stoves and gas insert faces come standard with ANSI-compliant ClearFire™ glass screens. This provides a safety barrier that protects against accidental contact with the hot glass surfaces and reduces the potential for injury. These screens are practically invisible and are so discrete that they do not detract from the fire view in any way.
If you have young children or pets in your home, we recommend installing a fire screen around your appliance to ensure maximum safety. Make sure the fire screen is tall enough and placed far enough away so that reaching arms can’t touch the surface of the hot glass on the unit. This will allow everyone in your home to safely enjoy the comfort and warmth of your Lopi®.
